HPI partnered with JAXA (Japan’s space agency) to design this: a frozen 500–700 ml PET bottle is used as the chiller, and chilled water is pumped through 16 metres of medical-grade silicone tubing woven into the vest. A dedicated lithium battery pack and pump drive it, so the whole thing is portable — pit lane, construction site, factory floor, race car.
