      Recently standards toward fuel efficiency and emissions control have accelerated development of turbo technology. The GT III Turbine is a highly efficient unit with high boost at low air flow ranges while preventing surging is achieved.

      Furthermore the team at HKS designs turbo housings based on their experience and know how built up over several years of turbo charger innovation. The HKS design minimizes surging,  this is due to it being "Made in Japan". This is manufacturing quality with domestic made casts machined and finished within HKS facilities.
   3. ◆High Versatility
      Lastly the combination of the ultimate turbine blades and its optimal housing creates an amazingly versatile turbo. High output, high response turbo tends to suffer with surging. In conclusion the GT III Turbine minimizes surging making it an easy to use unit with flexibility of setup. Whilst this is a thrust bearing type turbo, high response compatible with ball bearing setup has been achieved.
