Older BNR32 aircon has one recurring failure: not enough condenser capacity to keep high-side pressures in check, especially after a refrigerant change. Garage Yoshida rebuilt the condenser with a thicker core — 22 mm vs. the factory 18 mm — and worked the capacity up to 1.5× the original. That is what stops the high-pressure cutout from tripping in traffic, and it works with either the factory R12 charge or a later R134 conversion.
