BNR34 Cowl Top Brace
The BNR34 cowl top brace — the structural panel between the strut towers, reverse-engineered by Garage Yoshida in high-strength steel.
Brand: Garage Yoshida
Product Name: BNR34 Cowl Top Brace
Fitment: BNR34 Skyline GT-R
Manufacture: Reverse-engineered from the OEM part, made in high-strength steel
Note: Nissan no longer produces the original. Needed when accident damage, rust or corrosion is present, or when the panel has to come out for strut-tower work.
The cowl top brace is the piece that ties the two strut towers to the bulkhead, and if it is rotten or missing the front of the car loses stiffness in a way an alignment sheet will never explain. The factory panel is out of production, so Garage Yoshida reverse-engineered it and made this replacement in high-strength steel — same shape, better material, straight bolt-fit onto the R34 GT-R shell.
Features:
- Reverse-Engineered: Modelled on the OEM panel, which Nissan no longer produce.
- High-Strength Steel: Uprated material spec from the factory panel.
- OEM Shape: Matches the factory geometry for a direct fit.
- Structural Panel: Restores strut-tower to bulkhead stiffness.
- BNR34 Specific: Cut for the R34 GT-R chassis.
For BNR34 owners doing chassis work and needing the cowl brace back — the factory panel that is not coming from Nissan any more.
