RI-S completes BBS’s lightweight forged RI trilogy alongside the RI-A and RI-D. The S designation marks a spoke count, depth, or face treatment that is meaningfully different from the other two variants: BBS does not use variant suffixes for cosmetic differences alone. The engineering foundation is shared: forged 1-piece construction targeting weight reduction as the primary outcome, TUV and structural certification at street-legal load ratings, and BBS’s German manufacturing discipline throughout.
