Developed for circuit use where unsprung mass, torsional stiffness, and fatigue resistance are measured in lap time differences and tire longevity rather than in showroom appearances, the LM has been run by racing teams, time-attack builders, and JDM scene specialists for decades. The forged center disk is assembled to a precision-machined outer rim shell with hardware that allows rim customization. BBS’s German manufacturing specification and extensive load certification back the construction. On the road the LM is impractical in ways a cast wheel is not; that is the point — this is a racing wheel available for street fitment, not a street wheel available for occasional track use.
