Description:
APEX uses 8 spokes for a specific reason: cross-sectional area per spoke can be kept high (good for torsional stiffness) while the spoke count is still low enough to keep large windows open for brake visibility. The SM-8RS in RS race-spec forging brings this balance to 6061-T6 billet construction, giving an 8-spoke wheel the grain-structure benefits typically associated with 5-spoke forged track wheels. For builds where the ARC-8 looks too aggressively motorsport-oriented but the SM-10 has too many spokes, the SM-8RS occupies the visual middle ground.
