APEX built the ARC-8 for track days first and street use second, which is the opposite of how most wheels in this segment are positioned. The 8-spoke layout came out of direct circuit testing where stiffness-per-gram mattered more than appearance — spoke count and cross-section were set by torsional load data, not design trends. Flow forming spins the barrel from a cast preform, tightening grain structure in the section that sees the highest fatigue loads. The result is a wheel that passes motorsport load certifications and daily drives without compromise.
